Clay Work

Before stone, I was doing clay work. Having a studio in rural Pennsylvania at the IAM Center has afforded me the opportunity to have wonderful feathers shed from chickens and other birds of the area. Combining the feathers into the masks, and making these ritual pieces, has been an artistic link for me to other cultures and peoples who have been doing this type of creation for millenniums.
