Creative Discovery Group

Seeing therapy as an art form has always been one of my goals of being an expressive therapist. The development of our psyches, working out issues, resolving childhood issues can all be seen as an ongoing sculpture with our own Self as the medium. The Creative Discovery Group was formed to bridge psychological process and creativity.

This is an ongoing group which meets for one weekend every other month. The weekend takes place in the art studio, where expressive therapeutic exercises evoke the participants’ creative energies. Verbal group process is also incorporated to help participants articulate a better understanding of the creative process and themselves. Working through creative blocks, being part of a supportive and inclusive community and having fun returning to the joy of pure creation, makes this group a natural step for life enhancement.
